When to move up a tier
The community rule of thumb: only bet a tier when your base can re-earn the stake in a few minutes.
- Early game: stay on free and low tiers until you have a handful of animals placed, then step up as soon as the next tier costs less than a minute of income.
- Mid game (post-rebirth): the Capybara ($1B) and Ostrich ($18B) tiers are the sweet spot — expensive enough to matter, cheap enough to repeat after a loss.
- Late game: before touching Sphinx ($4T) or Mammoth ($60T) bets, you want a multiplier high enough (see the rebirth guide) that even a downgrade loss is a rounding error.
Variants: gold, diamond and rainbow
Every hatch can roll a variant — gold, diamond and rainbow versions have all been observed on stream, and they consistently out-earn the base animal. The exact multipliers are not documented anywhere official, so treat variants as upside rather than a plan: your bet math should work with the base rarity alone.
Other roll layers seen in gameplay: radioactive and cosmic variants, plus weight stats on animals (players report 2kg to 137kg animals). What weight does to income is not yet confirmed — we will update this guide once it is measured.
The downgrade rule changes the math
Picking the correct cup does not guarantee the egg you bet on. Players have documented $4T and $60T bets where the correct cup was picked and a Frog or Basic Egg arrived — stake fully paid. Staff have said this is intended.
Two practical consequences:
- Never bet your last trillion. Keep a cushion of at least 2–3x the stake.
- Repeated mid-tier bets beat one moonshot: ten Capybara bets with a couple of downgrades still outperform one broken Mammoth bet.
Robux tier and exclusives
Above the $60T Mammoth sits a Robux-exclusive tier (staff-confirmed) — the 12,000 Robux top pack and rotating forever-shop exclusives like the Kraken. One exclusive Kraken was strong enough on stream to carry a base onto the global leaderboard, but exclusives rotate: check the current forever shop in-game before spending.
